The Anyue stone carvings inherit Yungang and Longmen from the top, and open Dazu from the bottom. The county is dotted with grotto statue sites. As early as over a thousand years ago during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the wise Anyue people began this miraculous work, which reached its peak in the Tang and Song dynasties. The biggest characteristic of Anyue stone carvings is "ancient, abundant, refined, and beautiful". Some unique and representative statues blend local and secular colors, vividly reflecting the "true face" of folk culture thousands of years ago.

In the Sleeping Buddha Courtyard, there is the most magnificent statue of Shakyamuni Nirvana. On a rock wall seven meters above the ground, the Buddha lies there, his eyes slightly closed, with a hint of laughter. A true portrayal of lying still in the blissful world has been portrayed on this land for thousands of years. In Piludong, there lives the Purple Bamboo Guanyin, known as the "Oriental Venus", which is considered the most distinctive Guanyin cliff stone carving in China. This Guanyin, with the characteristics of Sichuan women's appearance, is dressed in soft ribbons and elegant skirts, with a pair of red phoenix eyes gazing at all living beings.

Huayan Cave, known as the crown of Anyue Song Dynasty stone carvings, features the "Huayan Three Saints" and "Ten Great Bodhisattvas" seated in the cave, with distinct personalities and beautiful postures. At the upper end of the two walls inside the cave, the story of Shancai Boy paying respects to 53 teachers is slowly being told here.
